WARDANCE
Wardance was formed in the early 1990s but the line up with Cavanagh didn't come until March 1994. Wardance immediately began writing songs and in June 1994 recorded an EP and began a very heavy gigging schedule that would last for two years. In March 1995 exactly one year from the bands beginning with Cavanagh they released their debut self titled album. The album sold beyond expectations and the praise was enormous. The band managed to have radio success and went on to break records for the most press coverage of a new band. In 1998 they released the album STILL and once again wowed the critics and fans. This album was much more varied in sound and appealed to a wider audience.
Wardance has made a few appearances through out the years and never officially broke up, just went on hiatus indefinitely. We hope that 2014 will see a reunion as it is the 20 year anniversary of the bands most successful line up.
