The Sons of Infinity is an instrumental rock fusion band in the style of Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, The Dixie Dregs, Jeff Beck and other pioneers of instrumental rock fusion. 

The band formed in 1996 and released their debut album  "A Journey through Infinity" the same year. The album made it's way onto the pages of many guitar magazines including Guitar World, Guitar 2001, 20th Century Guitar and many others where the CD received the highest praise.

The Sons of Infinity performed regularly between 1996 and 2002 then took a break until 2012 when they did a long over due reunion show. Check back for details and news on the band.

Cavanagh has revived the British Invasion tribute band THE ROYAL VARIETY for the 60 year anniversary of The Beatles A HARD DAYS NIGHT movie and Album. The Royal Variety have been out performing the entire historic album completely from beginning to end as well as songs from The Kinks, The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Hollies, The Easybeats, Manfred Mann and classic British invasion bands of the early 1960s. Cavanagh to rerelease the 63-64 album remixed and remastered for vinyl and digital platforms in July 2024.
